Why Seal Sudoku
I created Seal Sudoku for a multitude of reasons.
The first and foremost reason is that this is a dedication to my wife, whom I love and care for deeply. I am a programmer and entrepreneur at heart. While I try to do as much as I can for the world, I can get absorbed in bugs or issues. As a result, I often neglect my husband's duties. As an addict to sudoku, every time I think about this game, I also think about what little things I should be doing for her that would take the same amount of time. (Hint: take out the trash)
The second reason is I see IT companies make millions and barely do anything good for this world. They don't give any remuneration to the open-source programmers who helped them. They don't think about the ramification of how their game might impact society from a mental health perspective. They don't know about the resources consumed and destroyed from this world to make that wealth.
The last reason is personal. I wanted to practice programming and launch a small software to figure out the whole process from an idea to mature development with many daily users. So far, my journey as an entrepreneur is balancing being an "idea guy" (planning and strategy) and a "get it done guy" (operations). Dozens of my ideas are just sitting on the back burners right now, some simmering and some overboiling. Sometimes, it's too complicated, and the fuel gets burnt out before launch (operational issue). The other times, it's just the wrong destination (planning and strategy problem). I wanted to keep things simple and get something off the ground.
Why Seal?
My wife loves animals and the baby harp seals (as depicted by the logo) are considered one of the cutest animals of this world.
